NEW YORK, NY (April 26, 2012) – Thirteeen-time major singles winner Serena Williams and mixed martial Arts star Georges St-Pierre launched a new product from Mission Athletecare – the EnduraCool towel.
Williams and St.-Pierre took part in a 30-minute training circuit on Thursday at 24 Hour Fitness at Madison Square Park in New York City to demonstrate the product’s function. The towel is made out of a unique fabric that instantly cools when wet. Williams mentioned that the towel will come in handy competing at the Australian Open where on-court temperatures can reach 120 degrees.
“Mission” is the first and only line of athlete -generated products designed to enhance performance in training and in competition. It was co-founded by Williams, Mia Hamm, David Wright among other elite athletes.
