Federer Begins Quest for Sixth Title at Hometown Tournament

Roger Federer is gunning for a sixth title in his hometown of Basel, Switzerland this week. He began his campaign on Monday at the Swiss Indoors with a 7-5, 6-3 win over German qualifier Benjamin Becker.

No. 1 Federer won titles 2006-08, 2010-11 and was runner-up in 2000-01 and 2009. He has a 44-7 record for the tournament.
