(November 10, 2012) The latest results from the 2012 NEC Wheelchair Tennis Masters taking place in Mechelen, Belgium on 7-11 November. Eight men, eight women and four quad players are competing in the ITF’s year-end wheelchair tennis singles championship.

NEC WHEELCHAIR TENNIS MASTERS, MECHELEN, BELGIUM

David Wagner of USA won his fifth NEC Wheelchair Tennis Masters quad singles title on the penultimate day of play, beating Andy Lapthorne of Great Britain 64 62.

Sunday’s men’s singles final will see world No.2 Maikel Scheffers of the Netherlands take on world No.3 Shingo Kunieda of Japan.

The women’s singles final will be an all-Dutch contest between world No. 2 Aniek van Koot and world No. 5 Jiske Griffioen.
