Roger Federer Withdraws from Montreal

 (August 2, 2013) – Roger Federer has withdrawn from the Rogers Cup in Montreal, the tournament announce on Friday.
“I am disappointed not to be playing in Montreal next week. It is a great tournament with amazing fans. I look forward to competing there in the future,” said Federer.
No reason was given for the withdrawal by the world No. 5.
Federer is a former two-time champion of the event  in 2004 and 2006.
Serbian Viktor Troicki and Croat Marin Cilic will also not be competing in the tournament. Ivan Dodig of Croatia and Spaniard Pablo Andujar will now be in the main draw.
