Li and Peng Set up All-Chinese Final in Shenzhen

(January 3, 2014) It will be an all-Chinese final at the Shenzhen Open when defending champion Li Na plays Peng Shuai on Saturday.

Li beat Germany’s Annika Beck 6-1, 6-3, Peng moved on in a walkover when American Vania King withdrew from the tournament with a right thigh injury.

It will be just the second time in WTA history which features two Chinese players. Li  lost to Zheng Jie at the Oeiras event in 2006 when she retired from the match. Li leads the head-to-head meeting with Peng 5-1.
