(February 4, 2014) Rafael Nadal continues his recovery from a back injury he sustained during his Australian Open final loss to Stanislas Wawrinka.
A press release from Nadal’s communications team notes that Nadal’s scans show no serious problem and that exams “were satisfactory and showed positive evolution” in regard to his injury.
The world No. 1 is continuing to train and taking the tennis court on Thursday and will decide “when he is ready to return to competition.”
Nadal’s next few tournaments on his schedule are Buenos Aires next week, Rio de Janeiro, Indian Wells and Miami.
