Hello everyone! Here I leave a picture with Richard Berger in my second checkup at the clinic may after surgery. The doctor is satisfied with the recovery and, although I still have to continue to wear the splint will now begin the part of rehabilitation exercises to regain mobility on the left wrist. A statement from the Mayo Clinic after Juan Martin del Potor’s second visit after the wrist surgery:
Juan Martin del Potro returned to the Mayo Clinic almost six weeks after his left wrist operation, where he saw his surgeon, Dr. Richard Berger. He has been wearing a special splint to support his wrist while his ligament repairs heal.Dr. Berger was very pleased with everything about the examination. The ligament repairs have healed exactly as planned, and he will begin an intense period of rehabilitation for regaining motion and strength. This rehabilitation will continue until Juan Martin is ready to re-enter competitive tennis.
Del Potro underwent surgery on his right wrist back in 2010, the year after he won his first and only major the US Open and was off the tour for eight months. His last match in 2014 came in Dubai in February.
