Kei Nishikori Withdraws from BNP Paribas Open

(March 11, 2018) Kei Nishikori has withdrawn from the BNP Paribas Open.
He released the following statement:
Unfortunately, I have to pull out of the tournament today. I have been sick for over a week and tried everything that I could to get better. Unfortunately today, I am still not strong enough to go and play a match.
I am very sorry as I love this tournament and wish Tommy Haas and the team a great event. I really look forward to being back next year.
NIshikori is replaced n the draw by Lucky Loser Ruben Bemelmans.
