
Milos Raonic to Miss Roland Garros
(May 20, 2018) The 2016 Wimbledon losing finalist, Canadian Milos Raonic announced on Twitter that he will not compete at this year’s French Open which begins on May 27.
It is with a heavy heart that I am withdrawing from @rolandgarros. I have many great memories there, but I know I need to continue working hard to put myself in the best position when I step out on the court. Thank you all for your support and see you soon on the grass.

Raonic has not been on the court since losing to countryman Denis Shapavalov at the Madrid Open back on May 10. Raonic who is currently ranked No. 22 in the world will be the second highest ranked Canadian as of Monday when Shapovalov will move past him.
Raonic hopes to return the ATP World Tour during grass-court season.
