From the USTA – (July 30, 2018) Cedrik-Marcel Stebe, of Germany, has withdrawn from the US Open because of wrist surgery. Guido Andreozzi, of Argentina, has moved into the main draw.

Stebe’s withdrawal is the second from the men’s main draw field, after Tomas Berdych‘s withdrawal gave Serbia’s Viktor Troicki direct entry.

The first player out of the main draw field is now Russia’s Mikhail Youzhny.
