World Team Tennis: Lasers Defeat San Diego to Reach WTT Finals

SPRINGFIELD DEFEATS SAN DIEGO TO ADVANCE TO WTT FINALS
The Springfield Lasers will make their sixth trip to the WTT Finals presented by GEICO after closing out the regular season with a 25-18 win over the San Diego Aviators on Thursday evening. Springfield won six of their final seven matches to advance to Sunday’s championship tilt against the top-seeded Philadelphia Freedoms at 2:00pm ET at the Daskalakis Athletic Center on the campus of Drexel University in Philadelphia. The match coverage begins at 2:00pm ET on ESPN3, with ESPN2 joining the live action at 3:00pm ET.
