Oracle Challenger Series Indian Wells Results
(March 2, 2019) Oracle Challenger Series Indian Wells Championship Sunday will kick-off at 10:00 a.m. with American Jennifer Brady taking on Viktorija Golubic with the title on the line. Brady defeated No. 11 seed Zarina Diyas in a dominating 6-3, 6-3 semifinal victory; while Golubic upset the No. 1 seed Wang Qiang in straight sets 7-5, 6-1. On the men’s side, No. 1 seed and World No. 27 Kyle Edmund will meet Andrey Rublev in a much anticipated final on Sunday. Edmund defeated Lloyd Harris in the semifinal 6-2, 4-6, 6-1, and seventh-seeded Rublev rolled through Daniel Evans 6-2, 6-2.
The men’s and women’s Doubles Champions were also crowned on Saturday. The all-American duo of JC Aragone / Marcos Giron took home the title on the men’s side, while Krystina Pliskova / Evgeniya Rodina became the women’s champions.
