HBO Sports Documentary “Being Serena” Earns Three Sports Emmy Nominations

(April 3, 2019) Being Serena, a serialized documentary series on tennis’ Serena Williams returning to the sport after becoming a mother, captured three Sports Emmy nominations on Wednesday. The nominations are for Outstanding Serialized Sports Documentary, Outstanding Music Direction and Outstanding Camera Work.

The 40th Sports Emmy Award winners will be honored on Monday, May 20 at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall in New York City.
