Pop Music Artist, Tennis Pro Redfoo Signs on to Vegas Rollers as the Team’s “Ace”

LAS VEGAS (May 23, 2019) – The Vegas Rollers, the city’s first and only professional tennis team, is partnering with pop music artist Redfoo to serve as the team’s assistant coach, promising to bring a new level of enthusiasm to both his teammates and the audience when the Vegas Rollers begin their 2019 season this summer.

As the Vegas Rollers “ace,” Redfoo (a.k.a. Stefan Kendal Gordy) can be seen at every Vegas Rollers home game from July 20-August 3 pumping up his team and the crowd. Best known for the mega-hit “Party Rock Anthem,” Redfoo has been an avid tennis player and enthusiast his whole life. After an injury sidelined his pro career, he went into the family business (music), forming the Grammy-nominated electronic duo LMFAO. Foo is a member of the USTA and his popular Party Rock clothing line was the title sponsor of the USTA Pro Circuit Women’s $50,000 event played at the Darling Tennis Center in Las Vegas in 2012 and 2013.

“I’m here to give the rollers Party Rockin’ vibes,” says Redfoo. “And to inspire them to take home the trophy! Yeahhhhhhh Baby!”

The Rollers begin their professional WTT season on July 14 in Orlando, and play their first home match at the Orleans Arena on Saturday, July 20. The Vegas team roster is chock full of pro tennis stars, including The Bryan Bothers, the all-time winningest doubles team in history, Sam Querrey, Asia Muhammad, Jay Clarke, Reilly Opelka, Matt Reid, and Harriet Dart.

World TeamTennis brings stars from the ATP and WTA professional tours together in a fun and exciting environment. This season, Venus Williams, John Isner, Madison Keys and Nick Kyrgios are just a few of the world’s top-ranked players who will play matches nationwide. Before, during and after the championship-level play will be lively music, entertainment, family-friendly activations, giveaways, celebrity appearances and community-based promotions.
