and various international broadcast partner platforms around the world

FLUSHING, N.Y., August 26, 2019 – The United States Tennis Association today announced the debut of a live streaming companion channel to the core US Open tournament broadcasts called US Open Now.  This digital-first lifestyle show will enable fans around the globe to experience the “off the court” US Open.

The show will be streamed live for free on USOpen.org, the US Open App, ESPN3 and on various international broadcast partner platforms around the world.  Fans will also be able to access the first hour of US Open Now programming via the US Open official handle (@USOpen) on Twitter each day.

US Open Now will feature the festival-like experience of the grounds, including the culinary and cocktail scene, behind-the-scenes stories and interviews, and celebrity sightings.  It will also introduce original content franchises that highlight the fans of the US Open in new ways.

US Open Now will be streamed live from its fan-facing set on the US Open grounds, hosted by acclaimed sports journalists and television hosts Nick McCarvel, Carolyn Manno, Jaymee Sire, and Prim Siripipat.  Features from across the grounds will be delivered by established sports journalists and reporters Michelle Yu and Blair Henley.  Additional coverage will be provided by multiple social media influencers, including Josh Denzel, Meir Kay, Ally Love, Megan Gailey, Rachel Besser, and Elena Besser.

“The US Open, as the final Grand Slam of the year, is well known for its incredible competition on the court, thanks to our global broadcast partners” said Lew Sherr, Chief Revenue Officer.  “The US Open is also known for delivering an unparalleled fan experience on the grounds, making it a can’t-miss NYC quintessential event, and we are excited to bring that to life with US Open Now around the world”.
