Every American Coming Home with a Medal from Parapan American Games
August 31, 2019 – The American Parapan team members have a lot to celebrate as every player on the team will be coming home with a medal from Lima, Peru.
Dana Mathewson and Emmy Kaiser took home gold in women’s doubles after beating the Columbian team of Angelica Colbernal and Johana Martinez 6-3, 7-5.
David Wagner made sure everyone would have a medal after claiming the silver medal against Robert Shaw of Canada 1-6, 3-6.
Casey Ratzlaff came up short in his bid for a second medal after falling to Brazil’s Daniel Rodrigues 6-2, 6-3 in the men’s singles bronze medal match.
In all Team USA secured five medals (1 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze).
