PRE-QUALIFYING “SURVIVOR” EVENT FOR NOVEMBER; WINNER EARNS WILDCARD TO PLAY THE GAMES BEST IN FEBRUARY

DELRAY BEACH, FL – Today, the Delray Beach Open by VITACOST.com (https://yellowtennisball.com/) announced that their “Survivor” event will be returning this November 16-19th and is making its annual tennis casting call to all local tennis players to sign up by Wednesday, November 13th, at 11:59 p.m.

 

If you are a junior star, college player, rising ATP pro, local club champion, tennis hack or just a believer, this is your chance to play your way into the Delray Beach main event and play the game’s best on the ATP Tour including former Delray Beach Champions Juan Martin del Potro and Kei Nishikori.

 

Taking place at Boca Lago Country Club, and known as “Survivor,” the pre-qualifying event for the Delray Beach Open by VITACOST.com will award a wildcard entry into the Open’s official qualifying tournament (February 15-16, 2020). With two more match wins there, he will have survived and made the main draw of the Delray Beach ATP 250 event and earned a chance to play the game’s top-ranked elite, prize money and ATP points and the attention of local and international media.

 

Delray Beach’s “Survivor” tournament is an official USTA Florida Section sanctioned Men’s Open event annually attracting local club players and club pros, college players, nationally ranked juniors and even ranked ATP professionals. Early rounds will be played at Boca Lago Country Club (8665 Juego Way, Boca Raton, FL 33433) with semifinal and final matches at Delray Beach Stadium & Tennis Center (201 W. Atlantic Ave., Delray Beach).

All “Survivor” participants receive two complimentary Delray Beach Open by VITACOST.com tickets for Sat., Feb. 15, day session, including the ATP Champions Tour Legends team event and ATP 250 qualifying tournament. The 2020 ATP Champions Tour field includes Tommy Haas, David Ferrer, Marcos Baghdatis, James Blake and more. Additionally, they will receive a 20% discount on select individual tickets (must be purchased by December 31, 2019).

The 10-day 2020 Delray Beach Open by VITACOST.com will begin with the ATP Champions Tour team-event and a Coco Gauff exhibition match over President’s Day weekend (Friday, Feb. 14 – Sunday, Feb. 16), continue with the ATP 250 singles and doubles draws starring Juan Martin del Potro, Kei Nishikori and the Bryan Brothers starting on Monday, Feb. 17 and conclude with the ATP 250 finals on Sunday, Feb. 23.

 

Tickets for all sessions are on sale now and start as low as $30. Whether you’re spending all 10 days at “The Beach” or a few preferred sessions, the tournament offers a perfect ticket for you.
