NOVEMBER 7, 2019, DELRAY BEACH, FL – Today, the Delray Beach Open by VITACOST.com (https://yellowtennisball.com/) announced that ATP Tour players Nick Kyrgios and Milos Raonic have committed to the already star-studded line-up of players for their 2020 ATP 250 event, joining Juan Martin del Potro, Kei Nishikori and Bob & Mike Bryan.

To accommodate the number of “All-Star” level players, the tournament is scheduling a Super Tuesday of tennis with Raonic – the 2017 singles finalist in Delray Beach – getting things underway on February 18th at 12:30 p.m. (session 7) followed by Nishikori (world no. 13) who was the 2008 Delray Beach singles champion. In a blockbuster Tuesday night starting at 6:00 p.m. (session 8), the mercurial Kyrgios will make his second appearance in Delray Beach followed by 2011 Delray singles champion Juan Martin del Potro closing out the night.

On Wednesday, the winningest doubles team of all-time, Bob and Mike Bryan (the “Bryan Brothers”) will take center stage in the night session at 8 p.m. (session 10) in their 13th appearance in Delray Beach, beginning their quest to defend their 2019 title and capture their sixth doubles title at the “Village by the Sea.”

“With our Super Tuesday line-up set, now kids can come out and see Nick at night and be home at an early hour while our Argentinean fans can cheer on their guy in prime time,” said Tournament Director, Mark Baron. “And, in our day matches, Canadian and other out-of-town friends can book tickets now to see Milos and Nishikori under our winter sunshine. It’s great for tennis to be able to offer specific times for specific stars this far out. Especially with the holidays approaching.”

In the tournament’s ATP Champions Tour team event, fan-favorites James Blake (USA, Captain), Vince Spadea (USA) and Jesse Levine (CAN) have been named to Team World with hopes of regaining the title from Team Europe’s Tommy Haas (GER, Captain), David Ferrer (ESP) and Marcos Baghdatis (CYP). Johan Kriek (RSA) and Mikael Pernfors (SWE) have also been added to the field, playing doubles exclusively for Team World and Team Europe, respectively.

“Our 2020 event has quickly become something special for everyone, literally,” added Baron. “The teams vying for the ATP Champions Tour trophy are comprised of Grand Slam-winning legends and guys who were just competing for the game’s biggest titles earlier this year. The team format and camaraderie is unique to Delray and the players and fans have really embraced it.”

Making his fourth ATP Champions Tour appearance in Delray Beach, Blake played the ATP 250 event seven times prior to that and was the 2013 doubles champion with countryman Jack Sock and 2008 singles runner-up. Blake is now the Miami Open Tournament Director and a tennis analyst for The Tennis Channel and CNN. In addition to Blake, local Boca Raton resident Spadea is making his 14th appearance in Delray including his second ATP Champions Tour showing after reaching the ATP 250 singles final in 2004. Fellow local resident Levine – who is the Director of Tennis at the Delray Beach Club – is making his third straight ATP Champions Tour event appearance after playing the ATP 250 event four times prior.

Rounding out Team World is tennis legend Kriek. The 2-time Australian Open champion is making his third ATP Champions Tour appearance in Delray Beach while Team Europe’s Pernfors is making his fifth appearance.

The 10-day 2020 Delray Beach Open by VITACOST.com will begin with the ATP Champions Tour team-event and a Coco Gauff exhibition match over President’s Day weekend (Friday, Feb. 14 – Sunday, Feb. 16) with the schedule of matches as follows:

• Friday, February 14th at 6:00 p.m. (session 1): Haas vs. Levine followed by Ferrer vs. Blake

• Saturday, February 15th at 12:30 p.m. (session 2) Blake vs. Baghdatis followed by Ferrer vs. Levine

• Saturday, February 15th at 5:30 p.m. (session 3) Baghdatis/Pernfors vs. Spadea/Kriek

• Saturday, February 15th at 7:00 p.m. (session 3) Coco Gauff Special Exhibition Match

• Saturday, February 15th at 8:30 (session 3) Haas vs. Spadea

• Sunday, February 16th at 12:30 p.m. (session 4) Baghdatis/Ferrer vs. Spadea Levine
