
(November 9, 2019) World No.1 Ashleigh Barty has levelled the Fed Cup Final after defeating France’s Caroline Garcia 6-0 6-0 in today’s second singles match.
Record crowds flocked to RAC Arena in Perth to see Barty steal the show with her composed and calculated win over Garcia after Kristina Mladenovic gave France the early lead with a 6-1 6-1 win over Australian debutant Ajla Tomljanovic.
