(June 14, 2022) After almost a year off the court, 23-time major champion Serena Williams announced on her social media that she’ll be playing Wimbledon. The tournament has given her a wildcard. The 40-year-old Williams hasn’t played a tournament since injuring her right foot in the first round of last year’s Wimbledon.
