
(September 21, 2022) ST PETERSBURG, FL, USA – The WTA has announced the 2022 election results for the WTA Players’ Council, WTA Tournament Council and WTA Board of Directors. Jessica Pegula has been re-elected as a Top 20 representative and will be joined in that role by Madison Keys, who previously served on the Council. Donna Vekic has been elected to the 21-50 position, and Aleksandra Krunic will re-join the Council as the 101+ representative. On the Tournament side, Cameron Pearson has been elected as the Tournament Board Representative for Asia-Pacific while Luiz Carvalho takes over as the Asia-Pacific Tier II representative on the Tournament Council.
