(June 17, 2026) The doubles fields for the DC Tennis Open have been announced:

- Frances Tiafoe and Nick Kyrgios have received a men’s doubles wildcard. The DMV native will team up with former DC Open singles and doubles champion Nick Kyrgios in one of the tournament’s most anticipated pairings.
- Fourteen-time Grand Slam doubles champion Venus Williams and rising star Alex Eala have received a women’s doubles wildcard.
- Ben Shelton will team up with fellow University of Florida alum and doubles specialist Diego Hidalgo after the pair received a men’s doubles wildcard.
- Defending DC Open champions Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori return to Washington as the top-seeded men’s doubles team.
- Reigning Australian Open men’s doubles champions Christian Harrison and Neal Skupski are entered in the field.
- Fresh off reaching the 2026 Wimbledon men’s doubles final, Marcelo Arévalo will compete in Washington. Arévalo captured the Wimbledon mixed doubles title this year, too. He is paired with fellow former doubles World No. 1 Marcelo Melo.
- Reigning Olympic gold doubles medalist and six-time Grand Slam doubles champion Sara Errani is partnering up with doubles specialist Nicole Melichar-Martinez. They are the top seeds in the WTA field and recently teamed up to reach the finals in Berlin.
- The doubles field also includes additional former DC Open doubles champion Erin Routliffe (2022) and defending champion Shuai Zhang (2025).
