
ST. PETERSBURG, FL, USA – The WTA announced the doubles teams of Gabriela Dabrowski & Luisa Stefani and Anna Danilina & Aleksandra Krunic have secured qualification to compete on tennis’ ultimate stage at the 2026 WTA Finals Indian Wells.
The pairings now join current PIF WTA Doubles World No.1 Katerina Siniakova and teammate Taylor Townsend in the doubles draw who secured their place in mid-August.
The Indian Wells Tennis Garden, home of the world-class WTA 1000 BNP Paribas Open, is hosting this year’s WTA Finals as the event returns to the United States for the first time since 2022.
| This will be Gabriela Dabrowski and Luisa Stefani’s debut appearance as a team at the WTA Finals however there is no shortage of experience between them, with Brazil’s Stefani reaching the final last year and Dabrowski lifting the title in 2024, becoming the first player from Canada to triumph at the event in singles or doubles. The pair have reached a final at every level of the WTA Tour Driven by Mercedes-Benz so far this season, winning titles at the WTA 1000 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, WTA 500 Internationaux de Strasbourg presented by Mammotion and WTA 250 Lexus Eastbourne Open, and also finished runners-up at The Championships, Wimbledon. |

| Anna Danilina and Aleksandra Krunic were the early pace setters on the PIF Race to the WTA Finals Leaderboard this season courtesy of reaching a string of finals at the start of the year, triumphing at the WTA 1000 Qatar TotalEnergies Open (Doha) and finishing runners-up at the Australian Open and WTA 1000 BNP Paribas Open (Indian Wells).
