
(July 27, 2026) The USTA announced the initial list of teams officially entered into the 2026 US Open Mixed Doubles Championship. The second year of the reimagined championship is expanded competition featuring Qualifying and global broadcast distribution and primetime placement on ESPN. The 2026 US Open Mixed Doubles Championship will be played Monday, August 24, to Wednesday, August 26, at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, with both Monday and Tuesday featuring free-to-attend matches in Grandstand and Louis Armstrong Stadium, respectively.

The entry window will close at noon on Monday, August 17, at which time the top six teams with the best combined singles ranking at the time will officially be directly accepted into the Main Draw field. Eight teams will be determined via wild card and announced on a date to follow. Two teams will earn a main draw spot by advancing through the eight-team Qualifying draw played on Monday, August 24. The Qualifying field will feature six direct entries and two wild cards.
2026 US Open Mixed Doubles Championship Schedule and Format
Monday, August 24 – Qualifying (Eight teams competing for two entries)
Grandstand;11 a.m. start (Free to attend with Fan Access Pass)
Tuesday, August 25 – First Round and Quarterfinals
Louis Armstrong Stadium; 10 a.m. start (Free to attend with Fan Access Pass)
Arthur Ashe Stadium; 11 a.m. start (Tickets start at $30)
Wednesday, August 26 – Semifinals and Final
Arthur Ashe Stadium; 7 p.m. start (Tickets start at $45)
ESPN will present the 2026 US Open, including US Open Qualifying and Mixed Doubles Championship, both beginning Monday, August 24. The complete 2026 US Open schedule on ESPN will be announced at a later date.
Scoring and match format:
- Qualifying through the Semifinals: Best-of-three-set matches with sets to four games; no-ad scoring (tiebreak at four-all); 10-point tie-break in lieu of third set.
- Final: Best-of-three set match with sets to six games (tie-break at six-all); no-ad scoring; 10-point tie-break in lieu of third set.
